What do you have to be thankful for?
My job, thankful is not the word I would call it though for I have worked hard to get it, there was no lets be happy and thankful and merry about it. I am happy with my job as a public servant, and I know I earned my position and possibly I am a little thankful for the opportunity, but only in the sense that what I have put in has come out with equal success, not in the luck given sense. Nothing I am thankful for is in the latter thought of luck given thankfulness, what I am thankful for has been either part of my life as a whole or I have earned, moreover the things I value have been earned. My house I am thankful for, as I am for other things such as my house, the chance to work on the assignments that I work on, the research involved and my car, even if it was sold to me by Grissom.
I am a Christian and I hold the basic Christian beliefs but I am not and never will be a sappy, pansy person who bases their life on religion and is thankful for the lord and all that he gave and gives and all that shit. No, I am not that type of person, yes I have many things to be said “thankful” for, but most of them I have either acquired anyway as a process of nature, for example my family, or earned, for example my job and a large amount of my possessions. That’s it really, end of story, now piss off.
